"I Believe" in Bumper Stickers

I Believe that every individual has the right to worship or not worship God in any way they see fit.  I Believe people have the right to express their faith publicly if that is important to them.  I Believe that is what bumper stickers are for.  I Believe that a state in this union that purposely produces state-sponsored license plates to promote or endorse a specific religious view is acting in clear violation of certainly the spirit and, depending on your philosophical interpretation, quite possibly the letter of the Constitution.  Whether or not the framers were ‘Christian’ (in the sense of that term that is recognized today) in their viewpoint is a matter for legitimate debate.  What is not debatable is the clear intention of our founders that the new, free country they were creating would not force any specific religious views on its citizens. Period.  Those who insist on repeatedly testing this tenet are either dishonest or very poor students of history. We have come to expect disrespectful and ethically questionable legal rulings from Florida.  At least their unreasonable and childlike maneuvering is entertaining.  Do they really think God wants to be riding on their bumpers?
