The NYT: Proudly Employing Bigots Since 2007

Every Sunday I feel a little twinge of loss and regret for having canceled my long-time subscription of the NYT over their choice of the offensive and ignorant William Kristol as “conservative” columnist. I just don’t get it. What is the attraction?  He never fails to astound by his utter lack of the “commons”–decency and sense–and his performance on Fox News Sunday this morning was no exception.  On the off chance that the Times actually cares what their boy is up to, I sent this clip of Fox News Sunday to the Public Editor (h/t Crooks and Liars).

Oh that Bill!  What a charmer.  He managed the rightwing bigot’s trifecta–racism, sexism and asinine political punditry (apparently he was not around in 2006 when the “Democratic establishment” wiped the floor with his ilk).  Every time I feel regret about my cancellation, Kristol reveals his ugly side(s) and I realize I made the right choice.  The NYT must be so proud.

BTW, does it seem that Brit Hume is just a little too eager to assert his heterosexual interest in White women?  Could it be that they actually hit the coveted “quad-fecta” this morning with subtle gay bashing in the mix, as well?  Good job, Goof Troop!
