Coleman, Part II

Coleman’s staff in response to a Judicial Committee request for MN AG Rachel Paulose (whom he at first denied nominating to the post, but now “remembers” that he in fact did nominate her) to appear before the committee:

“Sen. Coleman is concerned about any efforts to politicize the U.S. attorney’s office, including by the House Judiciary Committee” (Minneapolis Star-Tribune, April 18, 2007).

He’s a bit late to the party if his concern over politicization of the department just started.  What a moron.  You’d think these people would be too ashamed to look in the mirror in the morning.  Maybe their affirmations go something like, “I’m a deceitful scumbag, but darn it, people voted for me.  I’m good enough, smart enough and doggone it I’m able to screw people whether they like it or not.”  I am really, truly, sincerely embarassed for him because, apparently, somebody has to be.  Isn’t there a mental illness that causes people to lose all sense of shame?  Maybe it’s contagious and it spread at an RNC convention several years ago.
